Here's the story.459 in progress. Units arrive and suspects seen inside the residence. Deputies contain it. 10Sam arrives and request 10Lincoln with tear gas. LACFD responds and another Deputy and I are given SCOT air packs to wear with a short course on how to use them. Lt. Edmonds deploys tear gas and we enter. Halfway through our search our air packs run out and the alarms on the packs go off. We remove the masks and are instantly in a tear gas environment forcing us to exit the location.
More gas deployed, 2 other Deps with air packs go in and eventually find him (armed) on the floor of a bedroom closet. Not too long after this SEB got into the SWAT business very seriously
